This was a good old fashion "smut" book as my grandmother used to call them. It was good for mindless reading which I enjoyed. The story is based on some true historical facts and I really enjoyed the period vocabulary and the love story. I'm not big on this much sexual scenes but they were actually very tastefully written. Overall, it was good for just a quick fun read.
