Comprehensive and concise. Manages to cover a broad series of topics related to nationalism in general and the relationship of French Canadians to their sovereign struggles for independence in particular. Highly recommended.

Possibly the least accessible book I have tried to read in some time. In large part esoteric technical jargon which generally lead to little more than a series of simplified premises with nothing radically revelatory as a result.

An excellent read. The editor's thoughtfully presented collection of essays really bring the assorted subjects to life in the format of point - counter point. Many suggestions for further reading at the end of the book aside from those thinkers presented are also appreciated.

A solid read that solidifies the rather collective position expressed by all thirty contributors effectively.

Examines the concept of Human Rights as it relates to Canadian social and political organization. Examples from recent to pre-modern history are included. Highly recommended reading.
