Anyone who is interested in Japanese and Chinese contemporary history should read this book about what happened in Nanking during the Japanese occupation. The murders of soldiers and civilians, together with massive rape of Chinese women of all ages and destruction of their property, the looting, the despise the Japanese showed during the eight months of occupation is sometimes unbearable to read. But these things have to be told to everyone, before all witnesses of the massacre die. It happened between December 1937 and May 1938 and no one seems to know about it in the Western World. Please, do read this book and lend/give it to someone else, so that it can be spread.
