「我本來就是為了情慾下山」。同樣跟主角一樣是還俗人的壯陽藥店老闆說道。
道士下山這本書講得不是武俠，講的是，「活著」
不孕的婦人、失意的武俠宗師、中國日本兩方的特務，等佛的大師
各章節自成一格，卻又相連相關，讀來卻又感覺不太到重心，
因著情節懸疑，人讀進了書中，總迫不及待想知道接下會發生什麼事，
卻也因了結尾古龍式的留白，跳了出來 。主角踏進門內想問出他活著的重心。
門外的特務卻要去追補彭七少，不知道主角在門內發生什麼事。故事就到這了。
而讀者，我，也該跟特務一樣做自己該做、想做的事了。
