I found this book to be a realistic, fantastic novel. What I mean is that it uses more realistic explanations to explain the more fantastical parts of the book. As a science major, I found this to be very delightful and interesting.
On top of that, this book has a wonderful main character wh ... (continue)

I really enjoyed this book. I enjoyed it so much, I read it twice. :)
Honestly, this book is good because you don't any prior knowledge of economics to get through it. The authors do a wonderful job of informing you about Levitt's (/w others) studies without going too dry with the material.

This book was better than it's predecessor in that it brought back a lot of the players that make this series interesting.
It also continues on a lot of the cheesy teen mush mush that I've come to despise about this series.
Also, I really begin to have a disdain for Bella's character. S ... (continue)

The beginning of this book had potential, however, it spirals downward fast.
Bella slowly becomes a character that I can tolerate less and less. There are new characters introduced into the story with potential themselves.
Overall, I just felt that this book dragged on and on. Nothing ... (continue)

I saw the movie first before I ever laid hands on, or even knew about this series.
I knew sort of what to expect from the movie but as always, the book expanded upon what happened and even changed some events that I was expecting.
I think I didn't expect much, and so I wasn't really al ... (continue)

I tried reading this book in middle school and failed miserably.
This book is definitely for those whom are very patient. It can be slow at times, particularly the beginning, but the rewards are worth it. There were some instances were I would be thinking, "Why didn't they put this part in?" or "When do we finally get to this part from the movie?"
For how much I loved this book, I have to say, I wasn't in a hurry to read the second. I truly believe because at times, this book is work to read, like a textbook, and that can be daunting to the casual reader.
