Dreamfever is the next to last book Karen Marie Moning's wonderful Fever series. It' an action packed supenatural thriller with enough sex thrown in to keep it out of the kiddies hands. In Dreamfever, the walls between the world of the evil Fae and humans has fallen and it's up to MacKayla, a once superficial spoiled girl and now a talented warrior, to bring the end to the Fae. The ending of Dreamfever leaves as many questions as it answers, but this time the reader can see the strings from all the books in the series beginning to tie together .
I wouldn't recommend anyone read this as a stand alone. I don't think it would make any more sense than this opinion piece does to those who haven't read the first three books in the series. But if you are already a fan you are in for a great thrill ride. If you haven't started the series yet and are a fan of paranormal, this series is a treat.

Madison Avery is dead. She was targeted by a dark reaper who killed her but somehow she stole his amulet which lets her keep the appearance to the human world that she is still alive. She was supposed to have been protected by a light reaper (the ones who fight the dark reapers) but he made a mistake. Now he is trying to train her on using all the magical powers she has somehow possessed.
I found the plot very confusing at first, then I was informed that this book started out as a short story in an anthology book. Too bad the author didn't bother to include the necessary information in the actual novel. It was also pretty predictable as far as plot- I have read some great YA paranormal that had more originality than this book.
That being said, I have to admit that by the end I found I had enjoyed Madison's character, and despite the confusion it did pull together and was actually an easy book to read. Also it left me curious to find out what was going to happen next. So I only gave it two stars, it was ok.
