I read the author's THE RIVER RUNS THROUGH IT which is pure poetry in prose form, but this was hard going, not only as it was read to me while cooking but the reader was also bored to death by the detailed descriptions of fire behavior in a specific situation. Not in the firefighting business the minutia collected about the historical fire described in the book is as dry as the grass burned in that occasion
