I didn't like the style of this book at all. I'm not super fond of the characters either. But by page 50 or so the story picks up, and it does keep you turning pages from then on.

Thirteen Reasons Why
Excellent book. Very unique look at suicide and its causes, effects, and repercussions. Don't pass it by because you think you'd get depressed. You'd seriously be missing out.
Even better the second time around. Ought to be required reading in High School.
