This books was an adorable light read, in which a young girl -- sacrificed by her village for false allegations of being a witch -- is saved instead of being eaten by the dragon they've left her for. For reasons hinted at but never said, the dragon helps the abandoned girl get revenge on the people who hurt her. There might just be a little life lesson about revenge in there too.

My only regret was that the ending felt too abrupt and incomplete for me, who likes her endings to wrap up all those loose ends and unmask any hidden emotions. Still the book was enjoyable, and I'll likely read it again soon.

As someone who very frequently feels unnoticed as a female, I loved this book. As someone who's unexpectedly become the 'other woman', I adored it. The family relationships were believable and tangible. The tension between the star athlete and publicist who's just 'one of the guys' came through so clearly that I was a little surprised. Truly delightful read.
