This book was terrible. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. It wasn't even "so bad it is funny." It was gratuitously violent and gory, but inconsistent. The story was lame and the characters were annoying and flat.
Spare yourself.

This author is a new find for me. The book comes across as a mix of John Irving and Tom Robbins. It was strong from beginning to end.

The best part about this series for me is that the plot does not revolve around a huge misunderstanding between the romantic interests. They are still romances, but the tension in the storyline is usually about a mystery, not the relationship.
