Liked this book, it was one of those I couldn't put down... because there was something tragic around every corner... but I was disappointed in the end... there really is no ending, it could have a sequel or at least another chapter. Update: there is a sequel, so that fixes that.

This book seemed like it took forever to progress, and then ended suddenly with no resolutions. I was very disappointed in the ending. This is a collection of short stories... one of which is rewritten as a play at the end. All of which are disturbing, some gory, others very sexual. I picked this up at a Walgreens before a flight I figured I'd be in and out of sleep for the 10hrs so short stories would work. I've read worse but the play was a little ridiculous. Although I never did like reading things in play form because that relies on acting you don't see that would normally be written into a novel. I'd give it a C+.
