I literally engulfed this, I had to force myself to put it down. A truly brilliant idea told in a truly brilliant way.

Absolutely breathtaking. I found it really hard to put down. Full of drama and suspense but easy to read because the chapters are short.

I can't believe I have to wait so long to read the next one. I am completely addicted to this series.
It was nice how this book really seemed to highlight and focused on Sookie's feelings and her life rather than the life she had been brought into by the supernatural. -

Just like the first two of the series I couldn't put it down. I found myself getting more and more attached to the characters. Charlaine Harris has a way of making you feel like you're there with Sookie.

I loved this. Again, it was interesting to see how the novel had been turned into the second series of True Blood. But the differences between the two makes both the novel and the series enjoyable.

I read this after watching the series (unfortunately) but I still loved it. Charlaine Harris has really managed to capture a mysterious beauty in all of the main characters.

I got so drawn in and the twists really surprised me. I didn't find it that spooky for a ghost story though.

This book was absolutely breathtaking; I actually forced myself to slow down rather than speed through as I usually do. It was so easy to read as the chapters flowed nicely between each individual story and although there were a lot of characters with their own stories, it was impossible to get lost. A really interesting idea and one that could easily come true. I found myself attached instantly and there were some points where I thought I might have cried. Justin Cronin has definitely created something special.
