"1715. Queen Anne is dead and the German King George reigns over England. Throughout the country Jacobite support is stirring and in a village at the foot of the Pennines, loyalty to the 'true king across the water' is strong.
Into a community seething with supersticion and mistrust comes young Celia Bancroft, well-bred, educated and talented. Mist Over Pendle By Robert Neill
  • I really love books about witchcraft, witches and similar things. I red this one long time ago, but I can still remember it well. Beautiful book, and beautiful story, even if it was a sad piece of Women's History.

Sometimes ago I discovered this little book on the bottom of a box full with old scholastic books, and lots of other various old things.
I can't remember when I bought it, probably in a stail selling used books.
It's an english book and it's divided into 2 parts: one is "the Conquest of Constantinople" by Villehardouin, and this one I remember a little bit, it's thanks to this chronicle I loved crusades.
The other part is "Life of Saint Louis" by Joinville, and this part's never been read as I can't still remember the story nor the author.
    I'll remedy soon! ;)
They are of course Historic books.
