Dato l'argomento, l'intenzione iniziale era di non recensire questo libro.
Credevo infatti fosse "solo" un compendio dell'universo della Confraternita del Pugnale Nero, con scene tagliate, scene modificate, estratti dal forum dell'autrice e schede biografiche dei personaggi.

Credevo infatti fosse "solo" un compendio dell'universo della Confraternita del Pugnale Nero, con scene tagliate, scene modificate, estratti dal forum dell'autrice e schede biografiche dei personaggi.
Invece è un libro, per chi ama la saga, divertente e curioso, che mostra i Confratelli della Ward da un punto di vista parzialmente diverso dal solito.
Ho rivalutato moltissimo Rhage, che continuavo a guardare con il pregiudizio che fosse in fondo uno "stock-character" e si scopre un lato di V che non emerge dal romanzo a lui dedicato.
Il capitolo "For Writers" è bello e credo utile per chi sia interessato, mentre l'intervista finale (I Fratelli intervistano J. R. Ward) è spassosa.
Alla fine, il lungo racconto su Zsadist e Bella è forse quello che mi ha preso meno. Bellissimo, non c'è che dire, e romantico e hot quanto basta. Ma Zsadist ne esce talmente uomo perfetto che alla fine ho pensato che fosse troppo.
Libro da avere, per cultori e cultrici della Confraternita!
