The book is another classic adventure, something halfway between The Best of Both Worlds and First Contact.
It incorporate the usual struggle between Enterprise crew and a Borg Cube drones with the addition of a new Queen that our heroes must stop.
The back story of the novel is the integration of new crew members aboard Enterprise and an important decision that will change the career of Worf.
The result is a pretty decent TNG book, full of good ideas, but that lacks of depths both in characters development and history details.
