Se si è capaci di andare oltre il poderoso accumulo di falsi storici e ideologici introdotti dall'autore che è destro destrissimo (politicamente parlando), "300" è graficamente splendido, e un capolavoro nel suo genere.

Tutto quello che avreste (o non avreste) voluto sapere su Katrina, annessi e connessi (compresa la scandalosa gestione del disastro operata dall'amministrazione Bush). 716 pagine ben scritte, impeccabili nella scelta delle fonti, senza una nota stonata che sia una. Douglas Brinkley è un grande.
