Baking Cakes in Kigali
Very similar to Alexander Macall Smith's "Mma Ramotswe" series. The setting, being in Rwanda, is interesting and provides a few insights on living in that particular post-war situation. Distracting and well written, it's a more cultural choice of travel book than the "I love shopping" type!
