Uhm. I liked the idea, but the execution was less than perfect. All the new characters remained... new, and in the end I didn't really care for anyone.

Uhm... I loved the idea, and the story, but I didn't like the illustration, which is a huge drawback in an illustrated book.

Aww, I'm gonna miss Tiffany. Her books were special, in some way more grounded than other discworld novels (and they're books about witches... but once you get to know Pratchett's witches, this doesn't sound so strange anymore). Though I did like the book, very very much, it felt almost like it was ... (

Uhm, I don't know. It's not a bad book, and I really liked all the Nutt part, and also Glenda and the crab bucket. But still, it wasn't one of those books that you just can't stop reading. I don't know if it's my really strong dislike of football, or something else, but this is not one of my favouri ... (

Yes, good. I like Moist Von Lipwig, and I like how his stories play out. Also: Cosmo Lavish, you're a beautiful butterfly.

I love the Tiffany Aching books. Tiffany is a beautiful main character, and Granny Weatherwax is always in them <3 and the Nac MacFeegles too! I loved the quasi-romance between Tiffany and the Wintersmith, how she kept rationally fightin it and yet couldn't completely deny her feelings. I also lo ... (

Beautiful! I really like Tiffany Aching as a character, and the story was good, and the resolution too. Also, I don't know how I could think, the first time that I've read this, that Granny Weatherwax was acting out of character... she's pure Esme through the whole book!

Oh, I love Monstrous Regiment! Polly is a great main character, Jackrum is funny and adorable, the story is good with just the right amount of food for thoughts, and there's Vimes! <3

Night Watch is by far my favourite Discworld book, and one of my favourite novels ever. It is so Vimes-centered that I can't not love it with every inch of myself. I feared it would be disappointing on second read, but it was every bit as amazing as the first time I've read it.

Interesting, and quite good. The idea of the Long Earth was fascinating, and I think it was handled well. I was a bit disappointed by the ending, and I would love to read more about this.

It's not a long book, and yet it took me a long time to finish. It starts slow and confusing; it gets better, but not that much. I don't know exactly what I didn't like about it. The idea is good, having something sudden and unexpected happen in the first chapter and then dealing with the consequences as they slowly affect everyone in the small town of Pagford, but something doesn't quite work out. I think Rowling has a talent for understanding people (the way she differentiated the personal narratives, way of understanding the world of each character was amazing), but then it's like she doesn't know exactly what to do with them? Or not really, but there is something that doesn't work and it's a shame, because it could have been a really good book.
