Really well written, gripping. Its intimidating length passes in no time at all. Wonderful characters. I'll remember it a long time.

Beautiful, touching, heart-warming and tragic.

Sadly, much worse because he decided to split the characters in two down the middle. I expect the next book will suffer because of it too. I think mostly because there was less of interest that happened as a consequence.

Great concept, but disappointing after about halfway

Classic Heinlein. He has some real incite into social structures and the different ways that people could live together in communities.
