  • A new spin on the Alice in Wonderland tale

    This was actually a pretty interesting take on Wonderland, and added a heavy amount of science fiction-type technology blended with fantasy logic within the tale. Although my library deems it appropriate for teens and above, I believe that it probably would fit best with young teens and 'tweens, as the plot and dialogue appear to be geared toward that age set.   • The plot was okay, and the treatment of vampires and werewolves in the series is somewhat unique, but the major problem I had with the book is Stephenie Meyer's remarkable ability to misuse the English language so thoroughly. There were grammatical errors all over the place in addition to spelling and usage errors as well. A good editor and more basic grammar lessons are needed for Ms. Meyer. ... (continue)
