Ani is wonderful, and so is this book! I can't get enough of it. Who says raw food is bland? Probably people who have not tried any of these delicious, filling and healthy desserts! The only downfall is many of these recipes call for a lot of nuts, which can be pricey. But this is to be expected in raw food books that go beyond the typical salads. I find that halfing the recipes is an option to save your wallet, as the recipe usually makes much more than is indicated (made two pies instead of one!).
I was slightly aggravated because all the cooking takes place in a microwave, and I, of course, do not posses one. Despite that, this book is great. Everything can be made in a pinch, perfect for the those long days. Even though many of the recipes are "common sense" (such as nachos), even I, as a

And of course, if the recipe is bland, the joy of cooking at home is you can always tweak it however you want. Now if only I had a microwave...

Not because it was badly written or anything like that, but because I really had virtually no interest in the subject. But I think this a very important book and Nick Hornby is a fabulous writer.
I was really looking forward to reading this, and in the end, I was a little disappointed. Granted, Spanking Shakespeare is a hard book to follow up.
