Cover of Interview with the Vampire
  • Reading with G ❤

My best friend G is a huge fan of IWTV and we're currently reading this together, so far I'm loving it. It's much different than let's say Twilight or the Sookie Stackhouse series but that's all I have to compare it to so far because these are my first vampire novels.

I really didn't think I'd enjoy this book at all, I'm torn between so-so and quite good but I have gone with so-so because there were parts that were quite good but it left me with a so-so feeling. I really didn't think I'd enjoy this book at all, I'm torn between so-so and quite good but I have gone with so-so because there were parts that were quite good but it left me with a so-so feeling. At times the writing can be very forced to me, it doesn't flow in parts, and while I've seen many others say that after reading it they can understand what Rachel and Dex did- I still cannot. Darcy may be annoying, superficial, and she may of made her own mistakes but I don't think that justifies what Rachel did. Also, a lot of times I found her character weak, how she always gave in to Dex and that really annoyed me. I did like the book much more than I thought I would, and I was eager to finish it.

Cover of Enchanted, Inc.
  • This is the first in the Katie Chandler series and I started this after being recommended it by my best friend. I really loved it, it was witty, and had a splash of romance but not enough to make you roll your eyes or get sick of it. Looking forward to reading the other books in the series.

Cover of What Looks Like Crazy
  • This is the first in the Kate Holly series, honestly a lot of the characters in this book aren't that fantastic, it's over the top, but the character of Kate, something about her makes this series really enjoyable.

  • This is the first book in the Black Dagger Brotherhood series, I read this after having it suggested by several people and I was pleasantly surprised. There wasn't a lot of humor in it (I usually enjoy my books with humor because my life is so hectic, I just want to enjoy my books) but it didn't need it. The book kept me going and I can't wait to get to the 3rd book in the series: Zsadist's book!

Cover of Real Vampires Live Large
  • This is the 2nd and I liked it better than the first though it's getting to be a bit too much. There's no denying this is a fluffy series with no substance, if you like your books heavy with meaning or even light then this isn't the series for you. There's no denying this is a fluffy series with no substance, if you like your books heavy with meaning or even light then this isn't the series for you. If you want to read a series that you don't have to take seriously and can just shake your head at the ridiculousness of it, then you might want to check it out.

I liked the chemistry between Glory and the one male Vamp, I'm actually not a big fan of Jeremy Blade though I know they're end game.

Cover of Real Vampires Have Curves
  • This is the first in the Glory St. Claire series, she is a vampire who was turned when she was 'bloated' and now goes through life as a plus size vamp.
