I didn't know if I was going to like this book or not but I was pleased to find out I did! Elegantly written The Language of Flowers is a raw and touching story, very sad at times but also hopeful.
I found the whole flower language intriguing and will probably never see flowers in the same way agai ... (continue ) -

An excellent story! I liked it better than her two previous ones and those are pretty good too!
Can't wait to read the next one of the series. -

3 and a half stars.
I've read a lot of Nordic and Scandinavian Noir lately and it was a nice change of pace having a female protagonist.
The historical facts (?) of the story were a bit confusing at times but the plot was well executed and it managed to hold my interest until the end.
A very satisfy ... (continue ) -

Two great stories connecting, many twists and turns and some old favorite characters make for a very enjoyable read.
This third in the series in particular has lots of characters and it's maybe a bit too long. I still prefer her first two books, but all of Lackberg's Hedstrom novels are well worth ... (

I'm a fan of the Women's Murder Club and have been following Lindsey, Claire, Yuki and Cindy since the first book of the series "1st To Die" . The stories are a bit over the top and kind of shallow but I like the characters and I just had to read this book and will probably read the next one too. ... (

I had high hopes for this book since I really liked her first one. I took me a good 200 pages to become somewhat interested in the story and characters.
I loved the detailed descriptive paragraphs but I felt they took away from the characters and sometimes I simply wanted for the story to move along ... (continue ) -

With so much hype going around I decided to finally read it and see what all the commotion was about.
I have the feeling it's not the writing but mostly curiosity and the fantasy of the story that's making women dab into this book. I'm sure most readers of this book would not in real life like to ... (continue ) -

I was lucky to win an advance copy from Goodreads and I couldn't put it down. James Thompson is one of my favorite writers.
Just like in Snow Angels and Lucifer's Tears Thompson has given us another well written, character driven, action-packed and powerful story. He once more opens our eyes to ... (

I don't mind reading some well written and creative sequels to P&P but this book just takes the original classy story and turns it into a cheap Harlequin romance novel.
I'm surprised at the many wonderful reviews because I think P & P deserves better! It was a struggle to finish it! -

The story is well-written, charming and very enjoyable. I have to say it is not an original take of the familiar story - there is a lot different but also a lot the same.
I love Jane Austen's P & P and I think it is so magnificent that in my eyes any sequel pales in comparison... But since I can't ... (

I really, really wanted to like this book but I just can not finish it.
The story was not believable, it has way too many aimless detours and the main character is simply annoying.
If you like Sherlock Holmes skip this one. -

The Whisperer
A thriller with a stunning and very unexpected ending! Love the plot, the twists and turns and even the dark reads.
The only thing I would have liked is if the author had given us a sense of place in order to have a better feel for the story.
A great read!.
