Ho deciso di leggere questo libro perchè sono rimasta incuriosita dal fatto che nel 2011 uscirà il film con protagonista Robert Pattinson, Uma Thurman ed altri.
E non sono rimasta per niente delusa, anzi è un ruolo che catapulterà Robert Pattinson in un ruolo nettamente diverso come è già accaduto per "Remember Me" e "Little Ashes".
Ma tornando a noi sopratutto riguardo al libro, ha una trama così, come dire, recente mi sembra che tutto il libro si possa applicare all'odierna società politica italiana.
Georges Duroy è una persona senza scrupoli, non conosce il sentimento chiamato amore, lui sfrutta le donne (intendo con relazioni sessuali clandestine) per arrivare al benessere economico e cosa più importante alla posizione sociale.
Come il matrimonio di Madeleine e la relezione clandestina con Virgine Walter, lo fa solo per interesse. Nulla di più.
George Duroy è il tipico arrampicatore sociale.
E' un romanzo da leggere tutto d'un fiato, nessuna pausa e distrazione nel mezzo.

I decided to read this book because I was intrigued by the fact that Bel Ami film will be released in 2011 starring Robert Pattinson, Uma Thurman and others.
And I was not disappointed at all, so it's a role that will catapult Robert Pattinson in a dramatically different role as it did for the "Remember Me" and "Little Ashes."
But returning to us especially about the book has a plot so, like, recently I feel that the whole book can be applied to today's Italian political society.
Georges Duroy is an unscrupulous person that does not know the feeling called love, he exploits and seduces the women with its elegance (mean sexual clandestine relations)for gain economic welfare and most importantly a social status.
As a marriage with Madeleine and the affair with Virginia Walter, it is only for interest. Nothing more.
George Duroy is the typical social climber.
It's a novel to read in one breath, no break and distraction in the middle.
