    Magik ain't magic

[Note: This book follows "The Wee Free Men"... it's best to read that first ^_-]

The Nac Mac Feegle clan has a new kelda, but they still cherish the "other one". By the way, Tiffany is now eleven and she's sent "learnin' witching up in the mountains", where she'll meet some other girls of her age with all the nastiness that comes with a young girls coven...

This is a story of duty, pride, jealousy, geas (no, not the bird) and the meaning and purpose of magic... oh, I almost forgot: it's a story with Mistress Weatherwax. That wraps it all up, isn't it?

The Lancre Witches series gets renewed in this Young Adults' Discworld series... we leave the fair kingdom of Lancre to go on the Chalk where a new witch was born, and now that she's nine someone must break her the news!
She has First Sight and Second (and Third) Thoughts, she's in a hurry because the Queen of Faeries stole her little, sticky, cry-baby brother... she'll need more help than a frying pan and a grim determination: hopefully there's a Nac Mac Feegle clan nearby!

So... What's up this time in Anhk-Morpork? Well, to start with, the multiracial Watch is now a definite issue... Golems are up and about and something is making them fret... There's a King's heir in the Watch, but he's not who you're thinking... Someone is poisoning Vetinari, but not enough to kill him...

A tangle of treads that Vimes will try to follow, ducking assasination and conspirations attempts.
    ENJOY!

    The Watch Strikes Back!

[Note: You'd really need to read *at least* "Guards! Guards!" before starting this book... if you manage to get your hands over "Moving Pictures" it'd be perfect ;-)]

Capt. Vimes is back with the old rank and some new recruits. The kingship of Anhk-Morpork is still an issue for someone, but this time no dragons will be harmed during the novel. Gaspode the Wonder Dog will save the day (again!). Trolls and Dwarfs will... well, it'd better if you read that by yourselves! ;-P

The second Watch book stars the core of the cast of characters that will take you through Discworld series and the ideas that will give birth to most of future novels: a must-have and a MUST READ!

Probably not even PTerry was aware that he was creating the most versatile cast of characters in the Discworld history...
