  • I'd never heard of Simon Armitage before then my supervisor mentioned him during my dissertation because the title of his latest book, _Gig_, is a word, whose origin I tried to explain in my dissertation, yadda yadda. I thought I wanted to have this book because it reminds me of my graduation, so I bought it.
    It turned out to be really, really funny and now I'm looking forward to reading some of his poems too.
    A must-read for every failed rock star :) ... (continue)
