Un capolavoro sulla scia di Anatole France e Saramago. -
La cosa che mi fa piacere è, cosa di cui non ho notizie, capire che Pullman ha sicuramente letto e apprezzato romanzi come "La rivolta degli angeli" di Anatole France e "Il Vangelo secondo Gesù Cristo" di Saramago. Lo vedo, si legge in ogni riga.

First of all, i'm not religious and I really admire professor Hawking.
But this book is too light, vague and popular to leave a trace.
I refer in particular to M-theory.
The book uses ninety percent of the pages recounting the history of cosmology, but when it comes time to talk and to better define the theory of everything, it ends without telling anything of new.
I was quite disappointed by the book and the same controversy over it.
For those who have an average, good scientific culture, this book is definitely useless and a little bit boring.
