This is one of my favourite horror novels, the concepts of paramentals and megapolisomancy are terrific ( I personally find quite spooky the Sutro tower and the Transamerica Pyramid ) . I guess that the true force of this story is rooted in its strong autobiographical elements, Leiber lived at 811 Geary when he wrote 'Our Lady of Darkness' , the same address of the protagonist Franz Western (Leiber's alter ego).
As usual, a really wonderful edition by Centipede Press.
