Surprisingly well and much better than most of the series. An eventful year that is generally packed with actions, puzzles and twists. The rhyme of the story become quicker at the later half of the book. It is a year for Harry Potter to become a true adult and a true hero.

Having said that, I agree there is still some places in the book that appear wasting everyone's time, when the main characters hanging around doing nearly nothing. But compared to other books in the series, it is at least a few time more actions packed.

A great book for "down to Earth" frontline educator who is serious about their mission to "protect the Earth". A MUST READ!

This is the latest book from the renowned environmentalist who first proposed the Gaia Hypothesis. The picture painted by the author for humankind is a very groomy one. James Lovelock actually think that it is now too late to talk about "sustainable development", and humankind must now plan for "sustainable retreat". While considering myself as an environmentalist, I somehow hope the future is not as dark as what is described by the author. But the facts and warnings are already there. The book came out in 2006, one year before the IPCC's latest report on global warming. Nevertheless, many of the data in the former is consistent with what is mentioned in the latter. ... (continue)

很有啓發性的一本書，行走社會的護身法寶！中文譯名為《反叛手冊》。作者為美國近代的一個社會行動的高手，經常運用很多使對手頭痛的另類手法表達素求，他的思考邏輯很有實用價值。
