You talk about the peculiar style of writing of ''The Curious case of the dog...''.That's exactly why I look forward reading it. I thrive on innovative style of writing. I think I will show first that kind of book in my aNobii library. Check latter... I also love books featuring ''smart'' (of course) and wiser-than-human dogs and collect them.
Pennac, Calvino, only one?Eco is high on my list and I have enjoyed ''Six walks in the fictional woods'' and ''How to travel with a salmon'' (completely hilarious!).I like your ''L'impossibilità di vivere e la paura di morire. L'impossibiltà di morire e la paura di vivere'' about Hess (I read other titles than that one).
I speak spanish so I can guessed a bit of italian and portuguese.About Penrose, I think his theory is probably wrong but I read a lot about science in order to try to understand why we are here and why ''there is something instead of nothing''!!!

anch'io ho il problema dei libri letti in inglese, infatti ho compatibilita' basse perche' - che so - tanti hanno letto gaiman ma io l'ho postato in inglese perche' quello ho letto. allora ho aggiunt vari libri italiani per "avvicinarmi" agli altri lettori, ma da diversi anni leggo soprattutto in inglese. che fare?
