Cover of "Dreams from My Father"
    • Not very far into it but I managed to fall asleep while reading it at work and drooled all over my desk. Not necessarily saying anything bad about the book, just saying.. that's my experience so far :)

Cover of "Change of Heart"
    • I didn't care for this book. It was much, much, much, much, much too religious for me. The characters had the author's trademark 'twists' to them, but none of it was all that exciting.

This book wasn't bad but had very little information that directly dealt with my migraine problems. It covers a lot of different migraine problems, most of them far more serious than my own.

I think the 10 Simple Solutions to Migraines was a more helpful read. It was shorter and more to the point. I actually haven't had a migraine since I put those practices into effect. This book was more about getting the right doctors and diagnosis, rather than the day-to-day changes you can make to help your migraines.

This book does have a lot of good information, especially if you feel alone in your suffering. It has lots of real life examples of other peoples' suffering. This book didn't have anything wrong with it, but the 10 Simple Solutions book was better. I'm still glad I read this one because any amount of education is helpful and this book had a lot of information in it.

FAQ See all

I see a shelf I like. How can I keep track of its updates?

If you know the person, add as a friend. Otherwise, add as a neighbor. Either way, you will get to stay on top of future updates via RSS feeds.

I see a shelf I don't want to ever see again. What can I do?

Choose "block", and this shelf will be filtered out for all purposes.

How does the voting work?
Find a comment helpful / unhelpful? Cast your vote. Only one vote from each person will be counted. Every hour we gather all the votes, add them up, add some magic source, and there we have the new sorting for the comments on the page of this book!
What's the difference between friends and neighbors?
Friends are people you know. Neighbors are people you don't know but you'd like to keep track of their updates anyway.
Would I would leave a trace when I visit other people's shelf?
You get to choose. If you can choose to visit anonymously, you will not get to see who has visited your shelf. Fair deal.
