Not the world's easiest read, but a great one. Tessa has a list of things she'd like to do before she dies, and she doesn't plan to let anyone/thing get in her way.

Really amusing story about Kiriel, who's decided to take a break from an eternity of reflecting others' misery back at them to have a go at life in a human body.

Dedicated to misunderstood girls everywhere. A harsh but beautiful must-read.

Good kid makes mistake, doesn't see it, gets community service, and learns a lot, even if he doesn't know it. Really fun read.

I really enjoyed the style of this book. Lily manages to be spunky even amidst her confusion and annoyance and insecurity, which makes it a lot of fun to read.

This was a really fun sequel. The familiar characters are back, in Charlotte and Zee, an old nemesis reappears, and for added fun, Poseidon has it in for Charlotte! On top of which, did I mention, she's grounded for life. Which doesn't stop her from trying to save the world. Again.

Having never read Catcher in the Rye, I can't speak for how much James Sveck is like Holden Caufield, but he's for sure an intriguing character, wrapped up in his angst, anti-socialism and elitism. For a book centering around unhappiness, it was actually a very fun read.

Really sweet story about a girl who dreams of being a pianist and ends up with an organ instead. Her music helps to heal her famiy, and to bring joy to a classmate she didn't even realize needed it.
