Cover of "Masquerade"
    • This was an incredible sequel. Non-stop from page one til the end. Will leave you eager for the next installment.

I wouldn't recommend it to those who hadn't read Blue Bloods since there's not much back story included here, and without it you'd miss out on a lot.

Cover of "The Titan's Curse"
    • I felt like I forgot some important details when the story started, since it picks up right where it left off, but there are eventual explanations for those of us who might now know, so I got over it. This is probably the fastest paced book of the series to date. Definitely recommended, although if you're new to Percy Jackson, I'd say begin at the beginning.

Cover of "Ironside"
    • I wish I had read Tithe and Valiant closer to this as I seem to have forgot quite a bit, but Ironside was still a pleasure to read. Very quick-moving story.

Cover of "From a Buick 8"
    • I've never been a huge King fan, since I like to multi-task when I read, and it's hard to snack while reading gory stories...but I did read Eye of the Dragon, and my boyfriend read this when it first came out, and loved it. As my library book intake is currently on hiatus, I finally picked this up. Definitely worth the read. You won't find many stories like this one around. It'll keep you on you toes right up til the end, and is 95% gruesome-free.

Cover of "Ahoy, Ghost Ship Ahead! #2"
    • This was one cool story! Not only is the gang finally getting some real pirate lessons, the mysterious ghost ship appears only to them--leaving it as their job to save the day, even if Rotten Tooth doesn't believe them.

Cover of "I'm No Fraidy Cat"
    • CatKid is super-cute and loads of fun. As any cat lover knows, there's never a lack of mischief with a cat around, and the same hold true for a half-cat, half-kid. A great quick read for any adult and probably a series that could get reluctant children into reading.

Cover of "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows"
  • 1 of 2 people find this helpful
    • This was a great book, yet overwhelmingly painful...at least to me, who has now spent 2 months in the world of Harry Potter with no interruptions. I'm worried for all the kids who will read this...but as a devout Potter fan, really, how could you not?

FAQ See all

I see a shelf I like. How can I keep track of its updates?

If you know the person, add as a friend. Otherwise, add as a neighbor. Either way, you will get to stay on top of future updates via RSS feeds.

I see a shelf I don't want to ever see again. What can I do?

Choose "block", and this shelf will be filtered out for all purposes.

How does the voting work?
Find a comment helpful / unhelpful? Cast your vote. Only one vote from each person will be counted. Every hour we gather all the votes, add them up, add some magic source, and there we have the new sorting for the comments on the page of this book!
What's the difference between friends and neighbors?
Friends are people you know. Neighbors are people you don't know but you'd like to keep track of their updates anyway.
Would I would leave a trace when I visit other people's shelf?
You get to choose. If you can choose to visit anonymously, you will not get to see who has visited your shelf. Fair deal.
