I’ve never been one for young adult novels, always finding them to juvenile, with just mushy kisses & no storyline, but I must say this series blew them all out of the water. Bella May be a high school student, & Edward may have to act like a high school boy, instead of a decades old vampire, but they are both wise beyond their years. This book was quite fun, with just a hint of high school drama. I would suggest these books to anyone, I’m starting the second book now, I can’t wait to see who Bella’s relationship with the vampire family progresses, & if Edward will bend to Bella’s will & make her immortal.

Another great read from Stephenie Meyer. Don’t be turned off by the fact that it is a YA novel because there is nothing juvenile about this book. Bella may only be 18 but don’t be fooled she is all grown up. She has practically raised herself, plus her mother, & she is about to be off & on her way to collage & is engaged to Edward. I’m absolutely head over heels for Edward & I am so excited that they are tacking there relationship to the next level & Jacob is out of the picture relationship wise. Jacob is a great guy, & I hope the series will continue & he will find someone for himself, just not Bella they don’t seem right for each other. I can’t wait for her next novel The Host.

A cute peace of juvenile fiction. Raven had it all made, a love child with two loving hippie parents. Then it happened, her parents grew up, had nerd boy, & traded in the old VW van in for life in small time subberbia Dullsville. Raven was crushed she now had to spend her nights up late watching Bella Lugosi alone inspiring her wish to be a creature of the night because vampires were the only people that would ever understand her. Years later she got her wish or at least she thinks she got her wish when a mysteries family moves into the abandon mansion in their small town. She meets the mysterious Alexander (her very own goth boy, in the town of soccer snobs). After breaking into his house & finding all the mirrors covered, the family tree with no dates, & the monster paintings she is convinced the mysterious family must be vampires & that she is going to become one of them. This was a really cute story with a good moral but I hated the ending. I’m sorry but I’m a sap for happy endings, & I hate cliff hanger endings. I may pick up the next book to see what happens since it was such a short read if I don’t have anything else better to read.

Being trapped in a bedroom with a woman may seem like a grand thing, but being trapped in hundreds of bedrooms over two thousand years isn't. And being cursed into a book as a love-slave for eternity can ruin even a Spartan warrior's life. I love Grace Alexander, she does not see Julian for sex god he looks like, but for the intelligent torched soul that he is. She may not seem very brave, but she is one of the rare courage women that we read about, that dare to have what they want, & see the world for not what it appears to be through the glass, but what it is at the core. I could trap myself and read this book over and over again for days.

Have you ever wanted to know what it's like to be immortal? To journey through the night stalking the evil that preys on humans? To have unlimited wealth, unlimited power? That is Kyrain’s existence, and it is dark and dangerous & this novel will take you along for the ride. Although Kyrain projects a dark side there is so much more to him, he loves & cherishes his servant as his family, & would do anything to protect them & anyone that he meets. I think he has finely found a women that can look past the man with battle scars that run to deep to be seen by the human eye, & can conquer his fear of beatrale in Amanda. If you love a fated mate’s romance & would like a quick read with a vampire them & a healthy dose of God’s this is the book for you.

I was devastated when Edward left Bella, not leaving a trace of the Cullen’s existence. I was distraught to see that Bella slipped into her zombie like state, not talking to anyone, not eating, not even remembering the months that passed by when she snapped out of her daze. Jacob is a nice boy & makes a great friend always watching her back, but I prefer Edward. I hope things will stay strictly platonic between them, & maybe Edward will turn Bella one day. Although I must wonder what will become of Bella & Jacobs friendship if she does become a true member of the Cullen family.
