I didn't realize it's one of Miss Marple's stories until almost 2/3 of the book!
The book is very easy to read -- the little town is quite interesting, despite the murder that happened there. The mystery part actually isn't particularly bloody or mysterious, but the author described everyone in detail and I can almost see everyone in the town. The ending is quite cute and nice too.
