simply the best English translation one could get of Xenophon. This book also has commentaries for each work, which is, although not a detailed reading, satisfactory enough for beginners of Xenophon to become aware of the problems lurking behind his style.

Contains the author's rethinking of Hobbes and Locke, valuable pieces on Farabi and Maimonides, and book reviews which reveal Strauss' reading art in a compact format.

In fact, like all of Strauss' works, a very difficult book to understand. I hope to make a rereading if I have time. The reader might want to consult Seth Benardete's review of this book for some help.

Benardete's recollection of university life in dialogue. Lots of funny characters, and I have an impression that many Classicists (also lovers of Classics) are totally paranoids and maniacs - in a cute sort of way, of course!

The reference book of Straussians that is worth the effort of several close readings.

esp. Recommended: Sections by Leo Strauss, Sections on Xenophon, Thucydides, Descartes, Bacon, and the Epilogue on Heidegger.

Good overall interpretation of this beautiful but difficult Platonic dialogue. The palinode section is definitely recommended; I felt more could be said about the Thamus / Theuth myth though.

A penetrating book by a Straussian who interprets Heidegger through Plato/Nietzsche. Highly recommended.

在折高難度模型時，選紙和用紙是很重要的。這本書所教的溼折技巧、自製雙色紙、自製鋁箔紙、甚至自製紙張(！！)都是獨一無二的，而且是全彩附照片的教學，比其它書講的清楚太多了！想進一步提昇折紙實力的朋友們必備。(附帶一提，我看了這書才知道神谷哲史是到本書作者開的工作室學製紙的…酷！)

想認真了解「嘻哈」的人必讀之作。

This is the only book I could find that is on Greek/Latin metres and also compact enough for me to swallow (I know the indispensable book by West, but it's oop, and libraries in Taiwan univ.s just don't have it.) If anyone can inform me about related books, plz e-mail me or leave a message:)

不知何年何月才看得懂的書

I bought this after I read "The book of lost things" (The latter I read the Chinese translation, which is not bad by the way). But then I was VE~~~~~RY busy and haven't got the time for it.:(

Lang 最重要的一本書，有志於折紙設計、創作者必備；對折紙設計有興趣者亦可參看；我還差蛇腹技一章未讀完…

A good origami book, levels range from super easy to extremely difficult.

If the difficulty level could be graded more subtly (like about six degrees rather than four), I would know much better which designs to tackle first:P

I haven't folded all of them yet...
