A very easy to read introduction to cultural criticism book. Some might find the language distracting sometimes, as the book sometimes makes use of weird and politically incorrect (in my opinion) examples. But still, it's quite good reading for a start.

What an awesome postmodern text. Barth rewrites One Thousand and One Nights, and stories about Ancient Greek mythic heroes and mixes these with his wittiness.
A must read if you are into this kind of stuff.

Heart of Darkness
Those who say that this is a racist and pro-colonialist novella don't know anything about how to read fiction. Conrad's masterpiece is a must-read for every literature person.
