The beginning was a bit tough to get through, but once it's gotten started it is very good. I love the prose style of writing and Nabokov does it beautifully. I'm half-way through it, on Part II.

Not quite as good as The Giver, this is a book I tend to pair with it. I've been told the story is a remake but I'm not sure what of. Again, I love it for the same I reason I love The Giver.

Throughout junior high and high school I had a tendency of just keeping the books the teacher would give us as a reading assignment. If I really enjoyed the book, I would never return it. I love these type of political books. The entire story of a society such as this keeps me so interested in the story.

I think if I had read this one before 1984, I would have enjoyed it better. However, I read it after and 1984 beat it so much I could hardly enjoy this book. Read this year's ago, don't quite remember it all. I obviously enjoyed it as I don't keep books I don't like. I should read it again soon.

A friend at work told me all about this one as she read all four of them. Then we realized a movie was being made, I thought I'd try it out.

I got this book during an author signing. I absolutely love Korn and have seen them play live a couple times, with and without Head. Got this from the guy I was dating at the time for Christmas. I was hesitant about it at first but it has been one of the best, truest, stories I have ever written.
