Fantasy "sporco", brutale senza essere - per i miei canoni - fastidioso; ricorda Moorcock, con meno sense of wonder e tante riflessioni sulla violenza e sull'umanità sempre uguale a se stessa che a volte suonano troppo moderne e un po' fuori luogo nel contesto.

Fantasy "sporco", brutale senza essere - per i miei canoni - fastidioso; ricorda Moorcock, con meno sense of wonder e tante riflessioni sulla violenza e sull'umanità sempre uguale a se stessa che a volte suonano troppo moderne e un po' fuori luogo nel contesto.
Ha il suo punto di forza nei tre protagonisti, un guerriero omosessuale, un barbaro innamorato della civiltà e l'ultima esponente di una razza superiore, condannata a vivere in mezzo agli uomini.
La struttura è a climax: parte da un inizio faticoso, molto frammentato tra i vari personaggi, e porta a un finale esaltante.
Maledettamente divertente, dopo il primo centinaio di pagine.
