Same here! At first I was like, man this girl is a lot like me (with book binges and such). I agree with the book bf thing, I wanted him to be nice and and he did pretty much change out of nowhere. Plus I was like, okay so why did you break up with your ex-husband?

I liked Neither Here nor There! He's just such a hilarious writer. I recommend it, although it was slow at certain times I felt. But mostly it was great. He had some oddball adventures in that haha. Have you read The Mother Tongue by Bryson? That's my favorite of his so far.

Yeah I think a 100 pages is definitely fair. I haven't started it yet but I probably will soon. I got the same consensus as what you said basically on LJ. We'll see.

I liked Literacy and Longing in L.A. The writers were funny which I liked, and I loved the quotes and literary mentions. However the characters were kind of blah for me. The main one was kind of snooty I felt like. She had redeemable qualities but I felt like the writers tried to make it too "LA" you know? What did you think?

I got it all figured out but I was confused by how to edit them and say which ones I was reading, not started, etc. But I got it. I know I agree! We'll have to recommend books to each other or something. Which reminds me when I checked your "reading" books... do you like Anne Rice's Vampire Chronicles. Because Interview with a Vampire has been on my shelf for about 4 years and I'm undecided on it haha.
