I liked Susie's perspective on death. She seemed to have a sense of humor about the whole situation. The thing that kept me turning the page--finding out if her family finds out who murdered her. We actually did this one for the high school book club I mediate in March 2005

Slow going at first. Some very thought provoking nugetts though. I can't believe I finished this novel. I found it so slow and not at all entertaining. I do recognize the fact that is very well crafted and the concept of the end is very interesting.

An ok read, but I wasn't captivated by it. The reason I picked it up is the second one in the series, Our Girl in Washington, looked good and of course I wanted to read them in order. I am not sure I will read the second one. I had hoped it would be kind of like Kristin Gore's novel, Sammy's Hill.

This was a very steamy romance. I guess I haven't read/listened to anything this steamy in quite some time. It was entertaining.

Once I got into this novel I couldn't put it down! At first I didn't know if I was going to like, but it was great. I can't wait to discuss it. If I have time I hope to listen to before we discuss it.Questions and Quotes1. Amir (the narrator) is Sunni Muslim and Pashtun and Hassan is a Shi'a Muslim ... (

I listened to the audio version of this novel shortly after I finished in paperback. I loved learning the pronunciations of some of the words. It was a wonderful audiobook, although it made me uncomfortable at times becasue of the graphicness of the scenes.

Yet another great Grisham law thriller. the book definately kept you guessing with different twists and turns. I am a little disappointed with the ending, but I would recommend this novel to anyone who enjoys a good mystery especially those that like Grisham's previous novels.

I was really disappointed in this novel. I had heard the audio version was great, but I can't remember where and I just did not enjoy it. I get that it had some nice twists and was a little complex, but I definitely wasn't compelled to read on and am not really sure why I finished it.

I was disappointed in Clay. I wish he would have had a bigger problem with his actions. I did enjoy the book and look forward to more Grisham novels.

I liked this a lot. I loved how Colie grew into herself. I could really relate to her as a character. I think many, many girls don't realize how beautiful they really are. It kind of reminded me of Carolyn Mackler's The Earth, my Butt and Other Big Round Things.

This is the best Dessen yet. I couldn't stop reading it. I thought it was thought provoking and entertaining. I look forward to hear what the students thought about it. Annabel seems at times so very old, yet so very young. I forget sometimes that she is not in college or in her mid-twenties. The th ... (

Lucky Man
This was a very readable memoir. It was very interesting getting a closer look at Fox and his life.
