L'argomento è estremamente interessante, ma questo libro soffre a mio parere di indecisione: è un testo di divulgazione scientifica, oppure la storia romantica di un grandissimo artigiano e sperimentatore? Nel primo caso avrei preferito un impianto più schematico (e perché non c'è nemmeno un disegno ... (continue)
L'argomento è estremamente interessante, ma questo libro soffre a mio parere di indecisione: è un testo di divulgazione scientifica, oppure la storia romantica di un grandissimo artigiano e sperimentatore? Nel primo caso avrei preferito un impianto più schematico (e perché non c'è nemmeno un disegno? È facile confondersi, ragionando di effemeridi, altezze sull'orizzonte, e così via). Se invece l'intenzione era la seconda, forse avrei posto la figura di Harrison maggiormente al centro della scena. Comunque un libro che vale la pena di essere letto.
