very enjoyable, am reading this book for the last 3 days and have almost finished it.
Loved Pride and Prejudice and so this was a must-read for me, highly recommendable for Austen fans....

There is something intimate about reading this book, the letters, the words, you can follow her feelings, her doubts and her mother's role, playing a big part in the unfortunate Queen's life.

Really well written, Antonia Fraser gives lots of details of the places, the characters and historical events. I was truly addicted to this book, and read more on Marie Antoinette after reading this book.

It brought me to another time, the atmosphere, and language, I could read it again....

I enjoy reading biographies, but this one was quite tough, very interesting, and explanatory, yet I took longer than usual to read it.

a good read, but sometimes so cruel and graphical, but the story carries you brilliantly through many adventures and strange situations....

It's such a powerful book, sad and so well written, I had to put it down at times, because the sadness ,but finished thinking how incredible Mr Wiesel is and how much he went through.

My favourite book of all times, Ms Vigée le brun brings you with her through all the adventures and special moments of her life. A real must read for art and history lovers.
