Good for taking your photography to the next level
Some parts of this book are really inspiring. As a happy amateur with a decent dSLR there were several tips I will use and have already started using for taking better shots.

Some parts of this book are really inspiring. As a happy amateur with a decent dSLR there were several tips I will use and have already started using for taking better shots.
Other parts were not so useful for me. It was a little like Getting Things Done for the photographer. I do not aim to be a pro or publish a book, so maybe this book is not aimed at me. For example I already have working procedures for editing and rating photos in Aperture, but getting insight into other people's methods is interesting too.
First half was very inspiring, the last was a little less useful for me. I will have use for things I learned in this book for the rest of my life.
