  Una lettura davvero piacevole: bizzarrie tecnomeccaniche molto "figose" e soprattutto tanta, tantissima azione.
  Westerfeld è uno scrittore di mestiere, dalla tecnica solida, e anche se "Leviathan" non è forse il capolavoro dell'anno rimane comunque un ottimo libro.

  Westerfeld è uno scrittore di mestiere, dalla tecnica solida, e anche se "Leviathan" non è forse il capolavoro dell'anno rimane comunque un ottimo libro.
  Certo, come ammette anche l'autore nella postfazione, a volte per premere sul pedale dello steam tocca far finta di non vedere il rasoio di Occam: ma è un'imperfezione che si perdona volentieri.
  Invece personalmente gli perdono meno il finale un po' in sospeso, fatto per "tenere in caldo" il lettore in vista del secondo capitolo. A me le trilogie non dispiacciono, ma preferisco che ogni volume faccia storia a sé.

  Ah: la balena eco-sistema volante merita da sola il prezzo di copertina :)
