Well I liked the Darren Shan saga so far (1-6). It is clearly aimed for teens and possibly young adults (or the young at heart as they say). I still found it quite enjoyable as it has very original ideas about vampires and builds a unique lore. The story is engaging even if the books are a bit short to my liking.
