This is one of my textbooks in "Developing the Military Strategist," and as an overview of strategy in the 20th Century it's very useful.

Everyone, and I do mean everyone, should read this book. It is a frightening view of a future that might not be all that far off. It is well written and just a little close to home.

John Nagl shows his brilliance in this book, written years before our current counter-insurgency crises. This book is a must for anyone who has ever served in the Air Force or is considering it. Captain Sijan's heroism makes for a heart-wrenching, inspirational, thought-provoking read.

This is an amazingly exciting book about the Battle for Murphy's Ridge and its aftermath. It's inspiring, bloodcurdling, and informative at the same time.
