This book, written in English, is literally titled "Chinese Tea Culture." It is interesting as a historical and philosophical backgrounder on tea culture, but has little written on the modern expressions of said culture, or how one could become involved in it on their own.
This book is in English, and is an excellent primer on "The Art of Tea in China," which is the rough translation of its title. It discusses the history of tea as well as its current sources, production, and proper drinking.
Everyone, and I do mean everyone, should read this book. It is a frightening view of a future that might not be all that far off. It is well written and just a little close to home.
This book is a must for anyone who has ever served in the Air Force or is considering it. Captain Sijan's heroism makes for a heart-wrenching, inspirational, thought-provoking read.
I cannot recommend this book highly enough. I believe every American should read it (and everyone, from any country, traveling outside their homeland, for that matter). It influenced my time in China greatly, and will influence my career even more.
