Towing Jehovah By James Morrow
  • Even though I didn't like this book a lot, I have to say that every book we read always leaves us a lot of food for thought and that applies for this one too... I don't think I'll continue with the other two of the trilogy by James Morrow..

God's Pauper: St Francis of Assisi, a Novel By Nikos Kazantzakis

what a sweet inspiring novel. How easy for us to judge those who make radical decisions. How easy for us to wave away those who give up everything we consider good in life, but how shallow we feel when you stop to think about Francis of Assisi..

Paris in the Twentieth Century: Jules Verne, The Lost Novel By Richard Howard, Jules Verne
  • NOT A MUST

Verne's novel is full of intelligent insight into his future, making it impossible to publish in the 1860's but plausible for us, although his approach is too XIX Century..

Lay Siege to Heaven: A Novel About Saint Catherine of Siena By Louis De Wohl
  • an interesting bio novel about St. Catherine, well narrated but a little too soapish, although I understand that's the best way to tell the story of a Saint who did a lot in her times.
