i think this might be the only case where i thought the film gave a lot more than the book. but that is only understandable as you can only do so much with a blink of an eye...
still, both left a very deep impression. such intense honesty is rarely met. -

this is a really good book. i learnt a think or too from it.
it may be slow and rather uneventful for some, but i found it beautiful. very well written (if that can be judged by the translation at all), very honest.
i could smell the forest when i read it :) -
